  • February 22, 2009 (DW’s birthday!) – Transfer 2 embryos (8 frozen)
  • March 2, 2009 – BFP! Beta #1, 74
  • March 6, 2009 – Beta #2, 286
  • March 11, 2009 – Bleeding
  • March 12, 2009 – Miscarriage confirmed, D&C, laparoscopy

FET #1 – Try #7:

  • April 17, 2009 – Transfer 2 embryos
  • April 24, 2009 (7dp5dt) – BFP! Beta #1, 61
  • April 27, 2009 (9dp5dt) – Beta #2, 173
  • May 4, 2009 (17dp5dt) – Beta #3, 3434
  • May 18, 2009 – Heartbeat! 140 BPM
  • July 16, 2009 – We are having a BOY!
  • December 21, 2009 – Baby Monkey is born at 4:01PM. 8 lbs, 20″

  1. It’s such a struggle – it’s so moving to read how much you went through to get your monkey and to remember the stress of ttc that already seems so long ago! Anyway,we are at 17 weeks pregnant with twins and very excited – trying to build up some gay-mummy friends as there aren’t many here in Thailand – we are blazing a bit of a trail!
    Hope you like our blog – one was about ttc and then I changed over to the latest when I started to feel I couldn’t sensitively write about my pregnancy on what had been an infertility blog (www.lesroxxbangkok.wordpress.com)
    I’ll be following your story 🙂
