2 months

S had his 2 month check up yesterday and is doing great. He now weighs 13.8 lbs. and measures 23 1/4″. He was a little trouper when getting his shots (3 in all[!!!] plus an oral vaccine). He ran a slight fever yesterday afternoon and was a bit fussy and sleepy, but only needed one dose of Tylenol. He’s back to his old self this morning.

My Sleepy Wrap came yesterday (thanks to the person who suggested it) and S is fast asleep in it as I type this 🙂 It is so nice to have my hands free. He wasn’t sure what to make of it at first, but I think it’s a hit considering he’s now asleep. Yay for babywearing! Now if only the Miracle Blanket and Aden and Anais swaddling blankets I ordered would arrive… S continues to get his arms out of the SwaddleMe and wake up a few times a night (he was waking up 1 or 2 times and is now 2 or 3 – argh). Wish us luck!

  1. >im impressed that shane can get out of the swaddleme. my daughter has managed to once or twice, but mostly treats it as if she's in a straightjacket! sounds like the checkup went well and he is growing perfectly!! 🙂

    >We both have some big boys! I hope all of your swaddle options arrive and I hope you like the blankets. If you wrap him tightly, he should stay put. We use them nightly on C and he seems to love them.

  3. >It is so good to hear that baby-wearing is making Shanie a happier boy. What a relief! Even though crying is soooo normal in babies, it never feels it while they wail away. Hopefully the super-sized swaddler will help you all get your sleep.
